AND, qualifies for as much as 105 hours of CE/Continuing Education hours
A KNOWN AND ACCEPTED MODALITY
Experiential therapeutic guided imagery is rapidly becoming the treatment of choice for stress reduction, pain control, sleeplessness, personal growth and empowerment, and healing trauma. It already is an accepted healing modality in hospitals around the world, and acknowledged by insurance carriers as an integrative and complementary treatment for pain management.
WHAT IT MEANS TO BE CERTIFIED
Certification means that you have completed a course that has been approved by a governing board, in this case CAMFT (California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists) and the continuing education (CE) hours earned are offered by a licensed professional who is actively licensed by a State, in this case the State of California (Board of Behavioral Sciences) AND has been approved as a continuing education provider by CAMFT to offer continuing education (CE).
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
There is no other modality program where training/continuing education is so concentrated, and tailored to the individual's need. This program provides 40 hours of hands on, one-on-one or small group training/continuing education (CE), 60 hours of home study/continuing education (CE), and a basic library to start your practice fully equipped. You may pay all at once or pay as you go. You participate in training/continuing education (CE) as your schedule allows. Take as little time or as much time as you need to complete the training/continuing education (CE). Most people finish within less than one year.

Level One - Introduction to Experiential Therapeutic Guided Imagery Therapy; Creating Balance (worth 18 hour of continuing education (CE) credit)

Explanation of how course relates to scope of practice
This first level of study is designed to introduce licensed practitioners, and intern/associates, to the modality known as experiential therapeutic guided imagery, which helps clients become emotionally centered, balanced and focused. This level offers the history of the use of this modality, and recent medical research demonstrating the usefulness of this modality in treating stress, pain, anxiety, sleeplessnes and trauma. Finally, six different experiential therapeutic guided imageries are demonstrated in a one-on-one, format.

Explanation of how course relates to scope of practice
This second level of study is designed to continue educating licensed practitioners, and associates, on the history of use of this modality, and recent medical research demonstrating the usefulness of this modality in treating stress, pain, anxiety, trauma and sleeplessness. In addition, practitioners will be educated on how this level of the modality will help clients with interpersonal as well as intrapersonal relationships and heal childhood trauma history. Finally, seven different experiential therapeutic guided imageries are demonstrated.
Every therapeutic imagery experience will include discussions on the elements of an experiential therapeutic imagery and how to structure an experiential therapeutic imagery for both a group setting and for an individual one-on-one setting.
Further, if actual clients are willing to volunteer, live demonstrations will be offered.
Therapeutic Guided Imagery Certification Program
Level Three - Advanced Level of Guided Imagery Therapy; Hands On Experience (worth 4 hours of continuing education (CE) credit)
Day Seven Create and demonstrate both of your own individual/one-on-one experiential therapeutic guided imagery and a group experiential therapeutic guided imagery using scripts created by you specifically for your own practice/niche/clientele.

This third level of study offers licensed practitioners, and associates, a hands on experience in creating and using their own experiential therapeutic guided imagery scripts for use with their own clients in both a group and individual format.
Level Four - Home Study (worth 60 hours of continuing education (CE) credit)
Written recap of all 13 imagery experiences (13 pages long)
Written recap of the 2 guided imageries Participant created during Level 3
